Michele graduated Cum Laude from TWU with a B.S. in Human Biology with a Chemistry Minor. She attended UTSW Medical School at Dallas graduating in 2000 with her Masters in Physical Therapy. She continued her post-graduate education at Boston University earning her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2008. Michele has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedic settings since graduation. She is certified in Functional Dry Needling and practices using manual therapy and McKenzie techniques.
Michele enjoys running, weight lifting, and inline skating. Michele and her husband enjoy traveling internationally and look forward to resuming this in a post-pandemic world.
Shefali Dhir, P.T., D.P.T.
Shefali completed her undergrad in physical therapy in India and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UT Southwestern in 2011. She has spent her entire career focused on orthopedic rehab and has taken extensive courses in dry needling and in Graston techniques. When not treating patients in the clinic, she is busy beating herself up in the gym and spending time with loved ones.
Ben Glidden, P.T., D.P.T.
Ben is one of our physical therapists and a certified athletic trainer here at Star Sports Therapy. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He is currently participating in a fellowship through the Manual Therapy Institute to advance his manual therapy skills and treatment of orthopedic conditions. Ben enjoys being active with most sports but especially likes basketball, mountain biking, and snow-boarding.
Jay Baumgardner, P.T., D.P.T
Jay is a native of Phoenix, Arizona – attended his undergraduate at Texas Christian University where he graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He attended Northern Arizona University following TCU and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017.
His love of sports has led to additional work with athletes (young and old), helping them return to their athletic activities.
Jay enjoys golf, gaming, and coaching younger athletes. He and his wife have been enjoying their time back in Texas and they look forward to getting involved in the community.
Daniel Price, P.T., D.P.T.
Daniel grew up in North Texas and received his bachelor of science in Kinesiology from Texas Women’s University in Denton. He went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Baylor. He is passionate about helping athletes confidently return to their sport.
Daniel enjoys reading, playing sports, trying out new restaurants and taking his dogs to the park.
