What is Physical Therapy?

Physical Therapists are highly educated and trained movement specialists. Physical therapists will assess your range of motion, flexibility, strength, and movement patterns to identify dysfunction and limitations that are negatively affecting your lifestyle. P.T. will utilize manual hands-on treatment techniques and corrective exercises to help patients improve their movement patterns and return to function. Physical therapy can be utilized for non-operative conditions, pre-op conditions, and is necessary for full recovery from an orthopedic surgical condition.

What to Expect

At Star Sports Therapy and Rehab EVERY patient is a V.I.P. Our highly – trained physical therapists work hand-in-hand with the Star Orthopedics physicians in developing your RESULTS-DRIVEN personal plan of care. You will receive the highest quality of care starting with a thorough evaluation of your condition. Your therapist will tailor your program to your specific needs. Your therapist will be hands-on with you at every session. Your therapeutic exercises will be progressed every visit in order for you to return to your normal activities as quickly as possible. Our goal is for you to return to your sport and/or your life BETTER than you were before your injury.
